Stairwell newel posts finials are full of history, they have actually always been widely sought after by collectors. First seen in the XVIth century, they were used to frame staircases and became very ornamental to suit the Bougeoisie’s various fashion styles. This one is in grey-black marble and comes with its own base. Handmade and hand turned by our craftsmen, its “old marble” patina gives it authenticity.
